日本、行きましょ!(part 2)

おはよございま~す!

It's 5:45 AM local time! I've been rolling around in bed for the past hour, so I decided to write the second part of Day 0!

The security check was very simple in Japan. First ,we passed through some people that collected the form where we were asked questions if we had symptoms and such. There were infrared scanners and such. After that, we were online for about 20 minutes or so going through immigration.

Finally it was my turn, I brought up my passport and all my necessary forms. The immigration office greeted me and held out his hand, and being American, I took it as a sign that he wanted to shake my hand, so I extended my hand...but soon realized that wasn't what he wanted, especially after he said "passport please!". I chuckled and handed him the passport...how embarassing!

Onward!

Then, we headed downstairs to grab our luggage, by the time we got down, our group's luggages were the only one's left. The customs offices didn't give us a hard time at all. We exchanged for some japanese currencies and were greeting by Ohno-san, sorta like a middle person working for nihon university and our group.

He took us to our bus and we were on our way to MISHIMA~!

Fun on the bus:

There were a few landmarks which we passed by on our way to Mishima. My picture taking skills aren't so good, so I'll just show you one:

The Tokyo Tower~!

We stopped by a rest stop for a little bit to get a little something to eat. Then we rode for about another hour. we finally arrived and let me showing my cute hotel room!!!!!

My own little room~ (sorry for the mess!)
The cute little bathroom!
It was quite comfortable!

We dropped off all our things, and met back at the lobby for our phone distribution...

Here's mine:

IT'S PINK! But It's still awesome, better than the phones back in the states!!

After that, we were free to roam around for a littl bit, so a bunch of us decided to go to FamiMart (AKA Family Mart) to get some late night snacks! I got some potato sticks and a Ramune popsicle, but I ate it before I got back to the hotel, so I only have this left:

おいいし~!It was a little bit weird at first, because I thought it would be more soupy than saucy, but it was super tasty!

Nothing like a curry flavored cup noodle to end a wondering first night in Japan~

Maggie out~
